Small update. Yojouhan is dead because the hosting provider never took the money out of my account. Same with the 天.media OwnCloud instance since I moved it to the server. Maybe I'll bring it back for the third time but I really don't get that much personal utility out of the video subdomain now that I finally made the leap into home servers. It'll probably come back.
Forgive me for being such a shitty & unreliable provider of services. From the deepest depths of my heart, ã™ã„ã¾ã›ã‚“. Let's try harder now that we're halfway through 2024.

Yet again I return after quite some delay to lament about how much I neglect this stupid little child of mine. No matter. Everybody knows I'm cooked anyways. In lieu of wishing for my death, wish for Osha's death instead. I'm sick of living with the fact that he can read manga at work.
Media list page added. I'm terrible at keeping a media thread going on Twitter, and it's always been a hassle having to go backwards through my thread to find what I (might have) said about something a while ago. I think this is a good solution to this grumble. I'll be more motivated when the expectation is just a short blurb on my own website. Despite how much I let goonsite gather dust, I always want to do more with it. It's too hard to blog regularly, but its not hard to go through media, I do it regardless.
Hopefully it works out well. Thank you for sticking with me. Let's do the rest of 2024 properly.

video subdomain is where the meat is. Personally going to be mainly using it as an online archive, other users can do with it as they please.
Told you guys I could do something correctly... bet you all feel real stupid right now, talking down on the Rosco... uh huh, uh huh... sure thing... yes, apology crypto will do just fine.

I thought this was going to be a 1 hour job, but I forgot how much trouble I had setting up Peertube the first time. Horrible, horrible documentation. Have had to reinstall the OS multiple times after running into multiple deeply engrained issues present following all the recent instructions. Community forums aren't that much better. Hoping to get it done soon.

I'd like to take this opportunity to show that I'm (obviously elsewhere) alive and doing well. Pretty much half a year with no blog posts, and all the current ones on here were only made on that November of 2023. What the hell?!?!?!?! I coulda sworn it was more spread apart. I apologised for a 17 day absence?!?!?!?! Ritual suicide is the only apology I can offer to make good on all this now...
I finally got off the bad work schedule again. Like a fool, I bought more domains, which lead to very little here, and 月, and especially our dear departed Yojouhan, who never really came back. I've owned an equivalent server to reboot Yojouhan since about Christmas but I've just not taken the time to install all the software and get it online again. Oooof. What a waste of money! I'll do it today, and have another blog post announcing that its back up within the day. Go Rosco, go! Prove to the world that you're not just a lazy procrastinator!

Oops, it's been longer than I thought. Site de-bootstrapped. I think the pages look better without it honestly. I don't remember why I implemented it, or chose to stick with the implementation. All looks a lot neater with a better general aesthetic that's truer to the sites spirit, I'm happy with it.
Some font changes too since I realised the place was dependant on MS Gothic which non-windows machines just wont have. For some reason the font just doesn't look the same when I supply the MS Gothic .ttf file, so going with Consolas for now.
The wall's gonna be restricted to only show 20 posts from now on, as it was getting a bit busy. I've reduced the font size range on top of that so hopefully there's less total overlap. Still thinking about the other stuff on the bucket list, have some free time this week so I'll try to play around with the site a little.

RSS Feed added! Most of the kinks worked out, python script that I'll automate through a cronjob. Doubt it'll get any use but it was a nice exercise to keep me busy at work. Glad to get one off the bucket list so quickly.

Implemented functionality for an enlarged version of the blog image to follow the cursor when you mouseover it, since I recognise it can be a little hard to read the text, notably on

月.co has been rehosted. Thankfully the cheap & reliable host I'm with was forgiving of the many, many times I forgot to pay the invoice. I'll maybe do something a la the
lain page with the image displayed, but for the most part I'm going to keep the site very simple so it doesn't get fucked when viewed through in-app mobile browsers, which is the unfortunate fate that goonsite (still and probably always will) suffers. For now though, Mitsumi remains. It's been way too long since I read Skip & Loafer...
Edited some of the backgrounds on the pages to make them less harsh on the eyes and to improve readability of text. Info page is probably long due for a general rewrite as well. I've got a poor grasp on this stuff so please gimme feedback if you think anything is due for tweaking.

The site (and I) have been dead for a couple of months. Sorry. 月.co had its payment bounce a while ago and I failed to notice before it got blammed, and yojouhan.net was burning a massive hole in my wallet so it's being put in the stasis chamber for a little bit.
I learned a lot, especially on yojouhan, which I can hopefully put to good use here and on other sites in the future. I'll try to update the goonsite more and get 月.co reupped to act as a little Xen borderworld area connecting all my little things together.
I also died on Twitter (or X), I need to update my media thread, I'll force myself to do within the next 2 weeks. Probably won't ever be as active there as I used to, getting to the point where I can't give a shit about social media, but who knows.
